Meet Our Founder and Leader
Chad B. Briand
Meet Chad B. Briand, the visionary behind Steel ConstructionX inc., STEEL Structure Homes, LandscapeX inc. and DesignX Studios inc.—More than just a business owner, Chad is a proud father of a 24 year old daughter and a 22 year old son. Described by those close to him as an introvert who’s passionate, driven, creative, friendly, and loyal—someone who puts others before himself, yet is unafraid to speak his mind and stand up for what he believes in, always staying on the right side of the law and the right side of business.
Chad’s construction journey spans over two decades, dating back to his high school years where he studied drafting and participated in construction courses. He built a multifaceted résumé by working in various fields—from landscaping to framing—before discovering BONE Structure while employed at RWH Construction in Fenelon Falls as a builder/project manager. For the past decade, he has built BONE Structure homes across Ontario, earning a reputation as one of Canada’s premier steel home builders.
Chad then went on to create ConstructionX, a construction management company formed to collaborate with BONE Structure traveling across North America training new builders in steel-framed home construction, ConstructionX found itself at a crossroads when BONE Structure closed its doors at the end of 2023. Rather than abandon the mission, Chad embraced the opportunity to redefine ConstructionX as a comprehensive management company, guiding and coordinating his expanding portfolio of construction-related ventures—STEEL Structure Homes, LandscapeX, and DesignX Studios.
Chad has created a dynamic yet streamlined structure that fosters efficiency, cost savings, and scalability. From managing budgets and resources to standardizing processes across multiple sectors, ConstructionX allows each enterprise—be it steel-framed homebuilding, landscaping, or design services—to focus on innovation and execution. This sophisticated logistical model not only paves the way for substantial growth but also sustains the principles of quality, integrity, and forward-thinking that have defined Chad’s career from the start.
